Thanks to the Arts League of Lowell, the Lowell City Council and the owners of 128 Merrimack St in Lowell, I have been granted the use of this gorgeous space to make a real life extension of my online virtual gallery in Second Life.  This is the first art gallery in history (if you know one before this, please let me know) to break through the boundaries of virtual reality and rezz into the real world!  We're not just talking about an exhibit or two...Filthy's counterpART Gallery (FCG) will be dedicated to the exhibition of fine art as well as present mixed reality mashups of art, music, new media, and exhibitions that bring together both local and international artists. FCG's mission will also promote an inclusive community of artists, local businesses, educators, and virtual technology enthusiasts.
